      Pros

      Recent merger with Unitas. Though, it missed the CEO's timeline, which is a recurring theme.

      Cons

      A founder left. There is only one founder remaining. She leads the Engineering and Product teams. With three out of the four founders gone, rumors are circling when she'll leave too. CEO and his close confidants are difficult to work with. Other reviews have mentioned this. I can confirm that there are individuals that are friends with the CEO that are essentially protected. Learn those individuals quickly.

      Pros

      The remote work is nice, assuming you are in one of the major time zones. PacketFabric operates on Pacific time, so make sure you can cover a majority of pacific hours in you are in the US or Canada. Most team members are friendly, though stressed. We could all use a real vacation.

      Cons

      There is no direction. The company says they value transparency, and the CEO shares his thoughts. A week later those thoughts are completely different and everything that was said the previous week to drum up excitement is no longer the direction. We go week to week looking for the CEOs next big win and watch it come crashing down later. The most recent version of this was the purchase of a failing company. This has caused a ton of people to leave in the last six months and led to bankrupting the European entity. When you start, get the highest salary you can. The company has promised raises in the past that don't materialize. They are currently promising raises again.

      Pros

      Cool technology with some great engineering minds. Probably a great place for people just starting their career and need experience on their resume and a huge real world lesson in how not to do things, if you want a long and prosperous career.

      Cons

      Chief Commercial Officer is worst I have seen in my career and cancer to the culture CEO is trying to build. President/CFO's ability is barely above that of the CCO. The only strategy at the exec level is protect yourself. If you want to be surrounded by people that are professional and driving for personal/professional and company success steer clear. Until a QUALIFIED CRO comes in and a huge influx of cash from Round C funding this is not the place to be.
