Growth to the detriment of everything

Some work colleagues have care and commitment to providing a professional service

Company grown too fast over too short a period of time. No consolidation or integration of new acquisitions means a disjointed and strange organisation focussed on growth before staff satisfaction. Recent equity investment has compounded the problem. Company now run purely as an investment vehicle with little care for staff or client satisfaction. It will continue to haemorrhage staff until it acts on feedback

A good company ruined by accountants

There used to be some highly talented, creative and friendly staff. A few remain for now at least.

Cons

This once family oriented, staff focused friendly company has been on a steady decline for a number of years. Problems started with the over zealous ambition of the previous CEO who tried to grow the company too big too fast resulting in a mix of companies all working separately with different working practices and inability to collaborate, albeit under the same name. The problems have been confounded with the current board who with a couple of exceptions have no engineering experience. They have introduced unachievable targets, alienated clients and suppliers. A number of office closures and redundancies within the group has resulted in a general feeling of unease within the remaining offices.
