Pros

Premier Packaging offers competitive pay and remote work that allows some flexibility. When my career first began here in 2015 I thought I had hit the jackpot, and in many ways I had. Leadership cared about the individual and there was a family style environment. Departments worked well with and complimented each other’s skills and abilities.

Cons

Over the past couple of years the culture at Premier has deteriorated to a point that I fear is the new normal. What was once a great place to give my time is now filled with constant back stabbing, inconsistent rules and out of touch executives. The owners are too involved in day to day operations which does not allow for the people they hired to do their job, to actually do their job. It is fairly common practice for someone to go directly to ownership and/or executive leadership if they get an answer they don’t like. They in turn bend the rules to accommodate and never promote peers to problem solve and communicate amongst themselves. It is sad to see the place that I work today, the place that used to have such an amazing environment now promotes a fake culture that no one buys in to.

Pros

If you want busy, this company is for You! Big growth, busy schedules and fortune 500 companies to work witb

Cons

Hiring relatives, family and friends. So if you have more experience than their "club" you will be ignored and overridden every step of the way. Fast growth, but poorly managed. Managers do not get to manage, managers have quotas too, understaffed and no one is accountable when they mess up except for the person who has direct involvement with the customer

Pros

There are still some great people working here, pay is what you'd expect for the most part.

Cons

The culture they pride themselves on is gone. There's no more excitement, employees aren't sticking around, recent layoffs of some really great long-term employees have made us all face what we knew, but didn't want to accept about the company. With the change in ownership/management, the Premier Packaging that we all loved and went above and beyond for is gone, and it's not coming back. Things now are so cut and dry and you feel like a number instead of a person. There's no sense of job security or of being a team. With knowing some of the people that were laid off and their tenure and work ethic, it's obvious that the owners do not care about people, dedication, or preserving the culture that made Premier great. I've never heard mumblings of other employees job searching while at Premier like I have now. This used to be the place everyone wanted to get hired on, not get away from. Even customers are asking what's going on because things have gotten so bad. If you do take a job here or currently work here, don't give up family time or miss things in your personal life for work. It's not appreciated and won't do anything for your career here.
