It's in NYC, so you can quickly bounce from this place to another one, where a future is actually possible.
Cons
Absolutely horrendous work life balance. It brands itself as a start-up but inner workings is more like a corporate firm. It expects you to work to the bone with sub-par compensation. You can easily find a higher paying job elsewhere in NY.
the company had a talented recruiter, who was successful in attracting good people. The other people I worked with were all technically sound, and smart. The office was pleasant enough, had a lofty startup feel.
Cons
I could not see where the company was going in 3/6/9 months. There was no product planning that I saw happening, and a great deal of work was being shipped overseas. On top of this, there was only a trickle of sales.
