Pros

Beautiful, artistically driven work from talented artists. Stylish workplace.

Cons

Long hours. No overtime. Extremely clique-ish with toxic, reality TV stab-you-in-the-back drama. They pay low rates. Producers don't know how to bid correctly. Not a collaborative environment. Sink or swim. No real life outside of work. Upper management is clueless and panders to the CG supe.

Pros

You get to work with a lot of really great artists and a few really great directors. The overall level of talent on the production floor is extraordinary. Overall they set a really high bar technically too.

Cons

Unfortunately not all the directors are artists and aren't really creative and since the producers seem to think their role is all about protecting these people it often falls on the artists to make up for their shortcomings. That said there are a few good producers and directors but it is very much a mixed bag.
