Pros

Relatively good pay scale and good benefits. Good work life balance depending on your role.

Cons

Management is inexperienced in real team management and big picture needs. Employees do not seem to be evaluated on the same scale and poor attitudes are sometimes overlooked or ignored and then sometimes not. Regular workers and Middle management do not have a voice when it comes to making suggestions for improvements or process changes.

White guys using old technology

Pros

Ceo is friendly. Unlimited pto if you dare to use it. Nice video game room but do not get caught using it.

Cons

Software is sub par and written in dated framework yet senior devs think they’re God’s gift to technology. No diversity whatsoever within the itty bitty team that struggles to keep up with their 2010 workflow.

Pros

I started at Qualtrax as an intern while a Senior in CS. Within a few weeks I knew I wanted to work full time after graduation. As of writing this review I am full time and absolutely love my job. The company as a whole is not just focused on making a great product, but making great employees. As a Software Engineer, my voice matters and we as a team are focused on becoming better programmers and as a result make a better product. One of my main requirements for a job is that it challenges me and makes me a better software developer overall. Without a doubt, Qualtrax goes above and beyond on that front. Be it purchasing software development books for engineers, weekly book clubs, or peer pairing opportunities, I am always learning and improving. Several years ago the company completely changed how they operated and have since had a complete focus on Quality of work life and employee happiness. They recognize that happy employees make a company successful and I couldn't be more grateful to be a part of the Qualtrax family.

Cons

While I don't really have any cons to the job, one aspect that is not ideal is that a lot of the code base is legacy since the company has been in business for around two decades. Working on dated code is never the most fun, but that is part of being a developer in any job so it's nothing unique to Qualtrax.
