Pros

Relay42 has one of the best recruiters and capable managers I've ever known. They are efficient, empathetic and always listening to what you have to say, to ensure the best of both worlds. The people here are constantly upgrading and improving themselves.

Cons

For now, none at the moment,

Pros

Part of the tech stack is interesting, lots of expats which create a friendly environment, Global presence of the product.

Cons

Very poor HR, either understaffed or with a high turnover of the whole team, Chief included, leaving after around 1 year. I had difficulty getting answers or attention on serious topics such as payroll values or issues. During my stay I've personally experienced many forms of mobbing: - I've been called stupid, in front of peers, once - I've been called gay, once - Performance reviews often way worse than actual performance, to the point of having to sign an improvement plan that could lead to firing. But then cheers and nice words in public settings for the work done on a new feature released - Pull requests with offensive comments and language - Pull requests declined for minor issues, slowing down the work unnecessarily, or maybe ostracizing - A colleague was many times trying to engage in kind of a shadow sparring, at times intimidating - Manager giving good feedback in 1 on 1s, but then turning it to negative feedback in the performance review, making me wonder why this wasn't addressed earlier in the 1 on 1s I've seen colleagues who had a hard life at work because the managers/team leaders didn't like them and ended up leaving quickly because of this toxic environment. If they didn't like someone they managed to make the person leave by itself out of mental exhaustion. Engineers responsible for manual regression tests at every release, which takes usually the whole day. Lunch quality is not the best, to say the least Lack of product ownership.

Pros

Salary Office activities Working hours Young and smart people

Cons

Company strategy is not aligned with operations. Key management lacks people management, are distroying are blocking innovative culture. Overall respected and experienced COO left after 7 months (June 2018). Strong identity crisis on consulting ambitions. Vague vision no clear strategy and operational foundation to scale up. Higher sales management shares detailed personal feedback on Sales Development junior with entire company, after he left the office at his last day. To make a statement to cover up lacking sales results by failing sales strategy. Time to market is high. Development has no capacity to develop platform integrations which are promised to clients. Which is even a brand promise. Instead workarounds are being created to pamper the client however those workarounds are risky and not scalable. Most distinguishing plarform features as journey building and AI which are being sold as ready but aren't. Some sales persons are aggressive or even mean in giving feedback to others. Or making so much noise to expose themselves day by day that others around them can't work properly. I was politely asked by middle management not to share my insights on glass door. But at a company where so many people are unhappy and disappointed and given a huge resource turnover I felt I need to. Freedom of speech.
