Pros

The employees are overall very hardworking and dedicated. Each individual does more than they should since there is a shortage of employees in the company.

Cons

There is NO opportunity for growth in this company. The environment itself is toxic and negative, and this is only due to the way Conall and Zohrab treat their employees by their actions and words. There is no appreciation or respect given to the employees by them. Nonetheless, some of the samples/products are not stored in their proper temperatures. I would also agree that Conall has no experience in clinical operations or research.

Thank you for this feedback, there are always opportunities to learn and grow as leaders and as a company. Being that we are a small organization, our opportunities for growth look different than other organizations that have clearly defined paths. I understand some people are looking for a defined growth path and, while we don’t have that, we do have potential - as we grow we want our people to grow with us. Over the last few months, we have also ramped up our resource planning and hiring to help alleviate the pressure on our team. We take all feedback seriously and will continue to finds ways to improve the employee experience and wellbeing.

Pros

The actual 4-5 employees are amazing, they are worked to death but are very kind and dedicated to the work they do.

Cons

The CEO, Conall Arora has literally no experience in clinical operations or research. His previous experience was being the president of Fyre Media. The initial interview was a "rapid fire" session on how to build a clinical quote for samples, but when I got on site, it turned out he had no interest in my experience. He basically wants to be right about everything, even if he is categorically wrong. When I made a comment about showing appreciation for an employee's hard work his comment was "we pay her."

Pros

The employees are all great and incredibly hard working. It's unfortunate that they are managed by toxic upper management.

Cons

Conall and Zohrab do not know how to manage a company. The only thing they can manage to do is create an incredibly toxic environment. They will yell and scream at you for no reason. They will be the cause of major issues and then blame it on the employees. They never take the blame because they are never in the wrong. They make you stumble through various, meaningless tasks with no background information. They will throw crazy deadlines and tasks at you without any sort of training. They will talk behind your back and gossip about you for hours instead of working. They show clear favoritism, but this can change very quickly with just one mistake. They also claim to be a start up, but this "start up" is 10 years old, and the turnover rate is unbelievable. Both Zohrab and Conall have no experience in clinical operations and run the company like Fyre Fest.

Thank you for this feedback. Everyone’s experiences are unique and I apologize that yours was described as above. As it is with many small companies, there are tasks that need to be done that are outside of an employee's comfort zone. I have taken your feedback into consideration and changed our interview process to ensure we clearly explain what it means to work at a small company like RDI. Since the time of this review, we’ve committed to 1:1s, have started annual bonuses, and recognize people in our daily huddle and team meetings. These programs ensure our team feels appreciated. It’s incredibly important to us as a mission driven organization that our teams feel our gratitude for their work which has allowed us to grow.
