- Almost nobody in the company speaks english. All the documentation and code comments are written in Japanese. There are some translations but they are outdated and then there is the extra work of translating everything because, again, almost nobody in the company speaks proper english and nobody shows any real desire to learn or improve - Low salaries. Even if you do great in your interviews, you will be offered the lowest salary possible. If you try to ask for more, they will not like it. And if you do get a better offer, it will still be very low - Atrocious development an architectural practices. Their only product is developed in a gigantic repository, and every developer in the company works on it at the same time, which causes a lot conflicts, duplicated work, and fixing other people problems because they break your work unexpectedly. - Very angry managers, with no desire to help you with your work or career development - You are prohibited to ask questions directly to your peers. Managers want to see all the conversations a the group chats so they "can see that you are working". In other words, they do not trust their own employees - No work-life balance - Unnecessarily long meetings with no planning or agenda - Absolutely no training whatsoever - No relocation assistance

Slightly blurry HR system due to HR unavailability. But they just added a new HR to the team, so i think it won't be a major problem later on.
