No Opinion of CEOI worked at Robert Walters full-time
Pros
upper management are most foreigners and have been around for a very long time. Good office location, pretty generous in events and expenses for client entertainment. provides some sales training
Cons
as all sales company, placements are definitely expected. slow to market changes and demand. sticks to the legacy markets. low commision/not a commission house if you're looking to make it big with comms
Thank you for your review. It doesn’t sound like your experience reflects the high standards we set for ourselves as an employer. It’s true that this is a sales environment, but I’m proud of the way that we reward people for hard work in all its forms—indeed, that’s the benefit of our non-commission structure in that reward isn’t simply based on placements. Nevertheless, I appreciate your feedback, and would be keen to get some more details about your time with us — you can email me at monty.sujanani@robertwalters.com.sg and we’ll set up a confidential discussion. RecommendsNeutral OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at Robert Walters full-time for less than a year
Pros
A world renowned firm with long standing relationships with top tier companies - it's easy to work here as people know and trust the brand. Excellent internal training programs which supports those who are new to recruitment. Fantastic opportunity to grow and move within the offices, something which is encouraged by management.
Cons
Extremely high attrition which can be really distracting and unsettling. It is recruitment, so it can be quite cut throat, I saw several instances of people being let go after only a few weeks because they weren't a "fit". Managers are typically top billers who get promoted into management, which doesn't always mean they are good at leading teams or helping others grow. Commission structure is famously quite bad

RecommendsApproves of CEOI have been working at Robert Walters full-time for less than a year
Pros
The company invests in their people seriously. Managers are great at least the one I'm working with. Not transactional and a very team based working environment. That's the best part as everyone is helping you and vice versa.
Cons
Not any as such. Just needs to be more open to work life balance culture and bring in slightly more mature employees
