I worked at Schaeffler Group full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

There are no positive aspects to this place.

    Cons

Where should I begin.... Nepotism, favouritism, pettiness, no room for growth, compensated with more work...etc Let me transparent, upper management (VP's, Directors, Regional VPs) do not have a clue of how the lower individual's (in management roles) lead a group of people. Need an example? Sure, let's say that for lack of better words, you have a manager who has "favorites." These individuals get special... treatment and at times get away with doing practically nothing. In other words if you friend the right type of folks down here in Fort Mill South Carolina, then you can get away with doing nothing. Why is it that a person with great charisma can hide and oh so well...the low and unprofessional treatment towards its personnel? It's been a while since I left this company but my guess is the following: -any Schaeffler employee is replaceable -most likely everyone in customer service is looking to get out of their current role

    Advice to Management

You should spend time and get to know the people that work for you. Customer service is as t the very center, it is the core and drive of the actual sale.
