I was hired for a very specified purpose, and only later found out that my team doubled as part-time secretaries. Taking customer phone calls should not be the purview of CS, and it's frankly ridiculous to not even mention this in the interview process.
Training was absolutely horrible. I was talked at by a manager for 2 and a half business days before I was ever actually told to do any work. Not only is that a waste of company resources, but I obviously couldn't retain any information after getting constant input for 20+ hours.
The editing process is painfully inefficient, with a lot of back and forth. Moreover, the paper thin walls made it very easy to hear management trash talking employees. This made the work environment uncomfortable and perpetually tense.
As the cherry on top, some employees were allowed to use lunch as their time to preach political/ideological values. Regardless of the political position, work is not the place for a sermon of political doctrine, especially when the conversation can easily be heard down the hall and recurs on a daily basis. This resulted in blatantly racist comments being heard throughout the office, which nobody else seemed to bat an eye at.
