I have been working at Singapore University of Social Sciences full-time

    Pros

The alleged social focus and mission of the university. Helping working adults upgrade.

    Cons

SUSS has a deeply toxic work environment with high levels of politics and even bullying. As others have observed, the management practices are not from this century and are rather unenlightened. Unfortunately, the political ones are entrenched in the system making life a "joy" for others. From conversations with past faculty and associates, this has been going on for a long time now. It certainly doesn't look like it will stop any time soon. Poor culture. Not recommended. You deserve better.
