Pros
Stylish and well decorated, when I started to work for soho house I was proud. Nice food and customers.
Cons
Well I have lots to say about it.... most of the time I was feeling so down in soho house! Most of the colleagues were so mean and rude! Managers so so negative and care less! No people skills at all! Once one GM told us on the brief that if we don't deliver good money as a waiters she don't care about us, she is going to cut hours and fire people! Even when I was new!1week After my 3months perbition period they managed to extend it for 3more months! Then I left job because I felt unsecure and unwelcome! Uniforms horrible, the material was so thick that I was about to faint from the heat! 11 per day and just 20min break, which I think is illegal.

Pros
-Met some cool people -Beautiful work environment/work location -Ability to network -Strong F & B program with lots of career opportunities
Cons
-No career growth opportunities or development program for maintenance engineers -No support structure for maintenance department past the property level - No corporate level engineer to support the maintenance department and to guide the corporate office -No real budget “checkbook” developed for department heads to track cost and help manage there budget. -No Bonuses or profit sharing -No cell phone stipend provided or work cell phone provided despite heavily monopolizing my cell phone with work related apps, emails, phone calls, texts, photos -No respect for personal boundaries or time off and or time away from work -6 days a week, 12 hours a day or more work life expectation -Rampant Nepotism/Favoritism -Hiring and Promotions based off of “feels” and not experience and or qualifications/skills -Toxic co workers -Very high turnover -Unorganized management -Junior level managers with limited experience hired as department heads with very little understanding of how other departments operate -Required and expected to use company social media site and app. -A lot of company propaganda spoon feed to the staff. -Walk on egg shells environment when corporate managers visit. -My experience, knowledge and opinion often ignored and or disregarded -Support office and staff often ignore you until the issue your having becomes a priority with someone in upper management. -No exit interview

Pros
- Great health benefits - Decent pay - Most co - workers are really nice and fun to be around
Cons
-Professionalism and good business practices are ignored in favor of partying and looking good at surface level. Behind the scenes this place is a mess - Very high turnover even for hospitality -Poor work life balance especially for managers

Pros
I cant think of any
Cons
Worst place to work ever. Toxic culture - not enough wellness incentives or work from home flexibility. Only white men at the top. Cliquey and fake people. Long hours and zero work life balance. Rarely had any support from my manager who couldn’t be bothered to reply to messages half the time and wasn’t very empathetic to personal situations. Support office has a diversity problem - most people are young and white. Drugs were found in wellbeing room.

Pros
The managers are very flexible with scheduling and understanding about holding other jobs. Great benefits, especially in this industry. All the staff is like one big family, and very welcoming.
Cons
Claim they are good about promoting/hiring from within, but you really have to bother the management about it and they can be petty.

Pros
Incredible design and environment in the heart of Soho.
Cons
Lazy managers that forget service is prime goal

Pros
Soho gives a nice name to add to your resume. Cool locations to work and you can run into some high profile clients
Cons
Upper management are ineffective. They worship their corporate leaders for some odd reason. Nick Jones (CEO) and his team visited our property and you would think Jesus was coming the way everyone was scrambling to fix things that had been in disrepair for months. The servers and busses make more money and have more authority than managers.

Pros
Interesting customer base - lots of good conversations. The training and investment in learning was excellent
Cons
As a waiter you were treated like the absolute bottom of the pecking order - not like a human being, like a cog in the wheel. The floor managers were extremely difficult to work with
