      Pros

      Legacy brand that resonated with older gens

      Cons

      Management dominated by Japanese expats who have poor command of English and do not take in new ideas or counter proposals or rejections. The local heads of marketing communication department are dinosaurs who are poor in English and rise through the ranks through tenure, not by performance. A true shame to the legacy built by legendary Akio Morita

      Old Processes. People are unwilling to change.

      People are generally nice and company benefits are good.

      Cons

      Managerial level have been in the company for over 10 years, hence they are not receptive to changes. Directions are very top-down driven and most of the time, based on opinions rather than listening to the sales floor. Managers are indecisive and have a very micro view. Little to none of them are able to see the bigger picture.

      Averagely good bonus for a retail sales person, fairly good benefits and compensation.

      Cons

      Toxic work environment and racist towards co-workers. Seniors would push works they don't want to do to others. Diminishing others to make themselves look better at work, in fact, there are times and things they knew nothing about.
