Pros

Good people, nice environment, good strategy

Cons

Heavy process overhead for everything you need to do. Performance management is driven by HR - managers have almost no control over how to reward and retain their employees. Executive layer is like a college fraternity, driven by the in-crowd. Strategy is to be agile in all business processes, but the bank is so weighted down by processes and required approvals that it will never achieve its goals for agility. Merger with BB&T has cast a pall over the entire organization.
