Pros

The best reason to work at Tapad is the salary and benefits.

Cons

When employees share photos of the Titanic when discussing the company trajectory, there are more "cons" than "pros" to be sure. Below, a few highlights (lowlights): 1) I fully agree with the other reviews on here that call out the sexism across the company. More and more women are fleeing the company each week, feeling their only option is to leave, rather than subject themselves to further humiliation from their male peers. Sexist behavior is sanctioned by both human resources and the executive team. From leading women in the company not being considered for key management positions to men who have had complaints filed against them being rewarded with promotions and salary increases, the company culture is worse than a boys' club, as the inequitable treatment is acknowledged at every level of the company and not only ignored, but championed. 2) At one time, Tapad had a competitive, innovative product. That time has long gone and short-term thinking rules the day. There is no corporate vision and no leadership willing to make decisions towards progress. Everyone is made to prioritize turning a dollar into a dollar twenty-five instead of spending time working on long-term investments with strategies rooted in industry needs. 3) If you are not on the sales team, your work will not be acknowledged, much less rewarded. Executives and team leaders fall all over themselves congratulating the sales team for simply showing up and doing their jobs. Anyone else who makes the effort to roll up their sleeves and bring something to the table is either roadblocked, demoralized, or underfunded. 4) They are bandaging so many bullet wounds that nothing can operate correctly. Entire departments are without leadership or budget, lines of reporting are unclear, and there is no accountability, goals, or metrics that can point to success.

Organizational Mess

Pros

Talented engineers. (The minimum to post pros is five words. Since I had only two, here are more.)

Cons

Upper management lacks direction, vision, and proper experience. This has lead to poor project and product management and poorly implemented solutions that lead to a host of fires that have to be constantly put out. Worse yet, the management team has managed to ruin the best thing about Tapad -- their talented workers -- by destroying morale with a lack of recognition and reward for the people working hard for the company even as they put out fires and pull together solutions under tough circumstances.
