Red tapes - Too many cooks spoil the broth. Slow career progression and very little recognition despite taking on more responsibilities. Felt burn out most of the time.

Pros
None that i can think of. Overall morale is very low.
Cons
In this department, there are lots of non-contract , long service award , permanent old staffs who are not afraid of getting terminated. So, they have the nature of bullying contractual staff. When task required their helps they turned it away. The turnover rate for this department is very high. Bosses are selfish, afraid of owning responsibility and not really fight for their staffs. Temasek Poly as a whole not a good employer. Peter Lam has initiated lots of new changes such as: - Cutting down job because job he think can be replaced with machine, AI etc, - Requiring staff to perform night duties without allowance and - And many more etc Although the recent staff engagement survey is 70% but, the staff satisfaction is so lousy which is less than 50% and they don't dare to announce. Temasek Poly is the second worst among other poly. At the end of the day, they scored point . Due to the high turn-over rate , cut down their expenses too which is a good thing to HR. There is also little or no career progression. For staff to get promoted, you need to Q and wait at least 3 years (provided 3 years rating must be good. If not reset).
