      Not worth the pay

      Pros

      - friendly staff - mostly flexible work timings - get 1 free meal & drink per shift

      Cons

      - managers all expect different SOPs, some contradicting, so you need to be following different SOP depending on who’s the in-charge. - there is A LOT of things to learn cause you’re not just a barista. You’re a barista, cashier, cook & cleaner. Not to mention you got to be a promoter to meet that day’s budget. - customers are occasionally unreasonable but this is kind of expected from F&B - At my outlet, there was a specific manager who used to be very harsh on an intern cause she was “very slow”. The manager constantly gave the intern more things to do & to fulfill them in an (unreasonable) amount of time. The manager rants about the intern to the other staff members even if they were at home? Just overall very unprofessional behavior from her. - A lot is expected from you within a short period of time so if you’re not a very fast learner, this isn’t the job for you.

      Pros

You get to interact with loads of customers if you were at airport outlets, the co workers are great but not many nice managers out there. Mostly filipinos so they keep mostly with other filipinos and "bully" other people. Cant blame them since they're workaholics due to their contracts requiring high working hours per week. But i thoroughly enjoyed my time there as a barista

      Cons

Management can be pretty harsh on store managers, making them less fun.

      Cons

Pay is too slow for part timers but I think it's different now.

If you are passionate about F&B and there's a great outlet culture, it's worth staying.

      Pros

+ staff meals + good pay if you have a higher position + good for those who wanna gain experience in f&b + basic courses available and paid for + you'll learn to multi-task in high volume/peak periods

      Cons

      - long hours - back-to-back shifts - understaffed - no time for breaks sometimes - higher management politics - difficult to take leave or MC

A lot of tasks to be done

      Pros

      - 1 free drink/day (but you have to ask for permission) - Depending on your outlet, a chef prepares your food during break times

      Cons

      - Too many tasks to be done, esp. when it gets crowded and if your outlet has many tables to clean up - Underpaid, considering that there are many things to remember and do
