"Paranoia, Toxic Work Environment and misguided corporate hype"
- Work/Life Balance★★★★★
- Culture & Values★★★★★

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Theranos full-time for more than a year
Pros
Paycheck Co-workers (unless they drink the Kool-Aid and become competitive drones) Well-funded (see paycheck) Free food (careful or you snack too much) Career Opportunities - higher title and if you suck-up to the right person (Sunny Balwani, COO) and spend 100hrs a week in the office looking busy, the sky is the limit)
Cons
Leadership Team believes it's own hype but not the Science Paranoia (constant employee monitoring email/career websites, no interaction with other groups, insular thinking) Nepotism Sample Preparation Assays are not special or unique No future on the marketplace, LabCorp and Quest will have them for lunch... Work/Life Balance - forget it. Unless single or you hate your family, not the place to be. Corporate Culture - Toxic Bad Reputation from numerous former employees (this one included) that couldn't take the craziness anymore Top University Alumni recruiting sounds good on paper and in a press release but mismatched egomaniacs and unbalanced managers running groups causes low employee retention
