Good workplace while searching for better opportunities

Pros

Gives hands-on experience and practical knowledge. Access to information is easy, if you want to know, you will know. Particularly good if u plan on opening your own business in the same field. Owner is accessible

Cons

No career growth or is very slow - with this comes no growth in pay, no change in position for a long time, experience is not valued, and even degrees or trainings. No bonuses whatsoever. No transparency, no information on how the business is doing. One man having you guys work for him, that's it.

Cons

expectation of unpaid overtime, frowned upon for working agreed upon hours. unnecessary internal barriers and lack of transparency for a small to medium sized company. little to no opportunity for advancement
