Hematology Dept, a work in progress...
31 Aug 2022 - Clinical Research Coordinator II in Aurora, CORecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Progressive work/life balance with optional 10 hour days 4x a week, allowing for 3 day weekend if desired. Hybrid schedule (3 days on site). Caring doctors and clinical staff, who care immensely about the patients. Offers opportunities to take classes with CU up to 9 credits a year through tuition assistance program. >20 hr sick time/PTO earned per month. Opportunities for research authorship and grant work if desired, PIs desire advancement of the team professionally. Great coordinator, lab and data team!
Cons
Managers are less involved in groundwork and workflow issues, hardly on site to offer the help they say they're willing to give. A "come to me" mentality from leadership - they stay pretty tucked away. Complaints are heard but hardly acted upon, ideas are welcomed but are slow to actualize. Rapid turnover, seen as a "springboard" position.
