Pros

People. People work together to get things done.

Cons

Management either has no strategy, or does not communicate. Constant change in upper management. highly political environment, constant wondering about who coming in next, and disrupt in the name of change. New upper management thinks they have all the answers. They don’t let good people do go things. People are either being laid off, or jumping the burning ship. Look at how many open positions there are and not filled for a long time.

Pros

No one knows your are there - you can easily stay under the radar

Cons

Unfortunately, one of the world’s most famous brands roots itself in a poorly managed “corporate” office. The people are rude or detached and mostly, those that can make a difference are the latter. There are significant behavior issues, which go unaddressed, and obvious character flaws of the management team that prevent disciplinary action. There are a few bullies in the bunch and it becomes increasingly difficult to be progressive and/or successful when managers are incapable of well, managing long-term-problem employees toward the door OR toward success.

Pros

The pay is higher than most in the area. They hire anyone without judgement even felons.

Cons

Where to start... Nepotism and favoritism run rampant. They promote complete screwoffs who are too busy on their phones while the rest of us are giving everything we've got. They allow harassment and even give raises and promotions to coworkers who micromanage as to make them allowed to do it. They love to placate and make promises they will never live up to. I'm gonna tell you a story...I personally have worked my tail off to prove that I can operate the machine I work on. The only thing stoping me from getting a raise is my lead wont sign off to certify me. I'm doing the job alone and have been for quite a while. It seems its impossible to have this done even though it will literally take about 3 minutes to do so. The individual who is responsible had to be signed off as well and his trainer wasn't ready to do so..soooo the boss did it instead. Could do it for me also but won't..wonder why? If you have an opinion and share it they will not like you. They force people to work 7 days a week in some departments which is illegal so they force you to sign a pice of paper saying you won't complain and to cover their butts legally speaking. If you dont sign it they find a reason to either let you go or make you so miserable you'll quit.
