I have been working at Venquis full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Venquis acted quickly during the pandemic. Decisions were made that may not have suited everyone, but we have made positive changes and continued work consistently. The hard work is paying off and now we are heading into a new era. The "new" Venquis will be a fully digital business. We are no longer office based but still get to use our great locations for training/ development, social events and meet ups. This means a lot to me personally, because I can now move closer to my family in a different country. It also gives me the opportunity to get on a plane and work from ANYWHERE!

    Cons

    Nothing to complain so far!

I have been working at Venquis full-time

    Pros

Work from anywhere means the consultants have the opportunity to be based where they choose - not tied to an office or desk! Culture is brilliant - collaborative, ambitious and invested in employees. No longer looks like a normal recruitment company - more like a digital consultancy, completely unlike the competition and changing the game in the industry. fit for work - invested in employees mental and physical health

    Cons

lots to learn in the new digital way of working It's hard work but that's what it takes to be successful!

Thank you for your review. Fortunately the introduction of our Work From Anywhere policy means that you now have the flexibility to choose where you work from - so no more commuting 5 days a week.

I have been working at Venquis full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Dress down Friday's. Everyone is given a laptop

    Cons

No guidance No real training No career path the role was not the same to the one I applied for. Culture is toxic. Management have their favourites this is obvious. low retention rate. Read some of the HONEST reviews on here (don't believe all the positive reviews. 80% of these are written by marketing) most of the best consultants have left and never looked back. Don't blame them. No real clients - most you were bidding for or portal work very below par. Was sold on the "client base" they had and the fact I was going to a "warm desk". what a complete lie.

    Pros

Fruit basket on a weekly basis

    Cons

Absolutely loved these 5 star reviews made up by the marketing team. You can easily find out the truth though if you filter for "lowest rating"- that this a terrible company. Toxic culture, favoritism, no real leadership with a flavor of discrimination. (just to mention a few) Terrible commission structure. Most of the good consultants left already, the only thing that is high there is the stuff turn over. Completely agree with one of the previous reviews: " If you take pride in your work and yourself - do not even consider this place".

    Venquis Response

    May 27, 2020

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and I'm sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your time at Venquis. We know that we won't always get it right for everyone but feedback helps us understand what we need to address. Please be assured that marketing don't write reviews, we believe that everyone should have a chance to speak for themselves. We aim to make our commission structures as competitive and fair as possible and review them on a regular basis to ensure our consultants are justly rewarded for all the hard work they put in. To say that all the good consultants have left is unfair to those who are doing amazing things in the business in these challenging times. We have a dedicated team, who are working above and beyond at the moment, many of whom are working in totally different ways to what they are used to. What they are managing to achieve is testament to the strength of our consultants and the operations staff that support them.

I have been working at Venquis full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Great 12 week academy done by James giving you the best opportunity to start your career in recruitment. - Fun working culture, everyone in the office is more than happy to answer any questions. - Regular meetings or 'catch ups' to help personal development and solve any challenges.

    Cons

    - Long working hours, but that is typical of the industry. - With rapid growth there are a lot of change and improvement which takes time to adapt to.

    Pros

With the newly introduced split model of delivery and sales this gives you the opportunity as a recruiter to truly become an expert at your role with the full backing of experienced colleagues and in house training. You may hear about the hours needed to work, but advice to anyone coming into recruitment would be that is standard in the industry to achieve the highest level of reward from the role.

    Cons

I am in my early stages here so truly for now not much I could say in regards to this, which sounds cliche.
