Pros

Offers chance to work with impressive clients on range of interesting challenges. Employees who demonstrate value are given chance to assume high level of responsibility in client engagements and pursue strategic initiatives

Cons

As with many boutiques, employees will occasionally have to wear many hats and pitch in on tasks outside core job scope

Pros

There is interesting work that can be fulfilling at times. Smart people with cool backgrounds can be found.

Cons

There is much to say, but here is the main takeaway. This is not a meritocratic environment, starting with the "dubious hiring practices" mentioned by a previous poster. Individuals are often hired by the cut of their jawline and how long they can hold a plank rather than the quality and relevance of their experience -- not to mention that the vast majority of employees here are male (there is no diversity here -- check out the website). Many of those who are hired are hand-selected by the CEO himself - often from 'interesting' locations such as the gym or the airport. Those with actual skills and expertise end up leaving for a reason. Management is incompetent and relies heavily on the a few associates and mid-level people that actually know what they are doing. Decision making is not transparent and, frankly, often idiotic given the fact that some of these people went to ostensibly good schools. What's the most incredible thing to me is that this company has managed to stay afloat despite expensive and incompetent hires coupled with questionable business development trips abroad by the CEO.

Veracity Worldwide Response
7y
Veracity values the perspective of current and former colleagues, and respects that we're not a fit for everyone, and vice versa. As a firm, we believe strongly in affording opportunities for personal growth and development for all team members, and in recruiting from a broad range of environments. Management encourages feedback from all team members and strives constantly to improve our work environment.

Pros

Often interesting work with a very solid, albeit rotating, group of clients. Typically great junior staff.

Cons

The prior review says is all. Management and ethical challenges abound. Oh and no way revenue is as high as the range listed.
