Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookI worked at Works Applications full-time for less than a year
Pros
No pros as such. The salary looks good on the surface, but believe it isn't worth all the frustrations and ridiculous amounts they ask you to work.
Cons
Promotions are not possible - Extremely random process based on how good your relation with your manager is, although even that doesn't guarantee a promotion/pay raise. Huge amount of working hours - the average time you spent in the office per day is well over 11-12 hours. There is frequent scolding at Indian engineers. Managers have no respect for Indians here. There is bias in terms of treatment given to the Japanese and Indians at the same position in the company. No management structure. You end up doing everything by yourself. This leads to very low productivity, which means that you end up staying in the office for longer hours during release cycles. You even need to come on weekends. Only 20% of the batch has been promoted (read 10% salary raise) even after working for almost 2 years now. The weird STM training process of 4 months. Waste of time for people who already know software development.
