Pros

The people you work with day-to-day are great people. There is a genuine caring environment in the office from the handful of people who still occupy it.

Cons

High stress is a massive understatement. Leadership does not act proactively. There is no long-run thinking. Key information that is needed to maintain the infrastructure to keep operations running properly is not properly documented and when individuals who hold this key information are removed, no effort is made to retain the information. When problems arise, everyone is scrambling to solve problems. The time to learn about that one obscure piece of equipment is when it's failing and everything is gone horribly wrong good luck trying to find documentation because nobody has time to create them. The leadership team is quick to blame "you" for everything that is going wrong because you aren't up 24/7 managing the ever-growing list of responsibilities while you fight to keep your cost-of-living yearly raise. The Henrietta IT team was a skeleton group before the "restructuring." The future is clear for this company and it does not include US offices.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate that you experienced a positive working environment, despite feeling that it was stressful at times. The mental and physical health of our employees is our topmost priority. We appreciate that at times work can be stressful, and we have introduced a wellness program in 2024 to complement the benefits already in place, including paid time off, to support our team members physical and mental wellbeing. Thank you as well for raising the concern about the documentation of legacy knowledge, this is something that is a priority in our 2024 roadmap. We anticipate the realignment of priorities to drive continued success for the IT team in 2024, as well as the entire organization. Finally, we do want to be sure that it is clear we will not be shutting down our US offices, rather as we continue to grow, we will be hiring in the US and globally in 2024 and beyond. We are always on the lookout for talented employees who are passionate, innovative, and collaborative to join our team!

Pros

The coworkers are nice and the job itself is easy.

Cons

Over the past few months the entire atmosphere of the company has changed. Need to take a day off for a doctors appointment? Not allowed. Trying to plan a vacation? They might approve you for *some* time, but not all of it. They mass hire and mass fire people every week so you're constantly terrified that you're going to lose your job every email that comes through. Promotions are also greatly biased as someone else mentioned earlier - you could work here for 5 years, be the top member in your region, and they'll promote the new girl who's been here three weeks. Then when she doesn't know what she's doing - YOU get yelled at, your job threatened. It's crap. Save yourself the anxiety and find a different job.

Pros

Decent amount of PTO, remote work

Cons

This is a shady company with unethical business practices. They don't care about the operations employees at all, we're just warm bodies there to type on a keyboard to them. Pay is low, unrealistic performance metrics and management is a complete joke. Big red flags: opening offices in rural Virginia and India for cheap labor while they let the Rochester office crash and burn. Most clients are now being handled by India while the U.S offices are left to clean up the messy work they leave behind. This used to be a good place to work some years ago, it's really a shame and embarrassment what it has come to today.

In today’s job market, we know that not every former employee will go onto the internet and post their positive experiences; some do, but it is clear that this is not one of them. However, “Our People” and “Integrity” are two of our core corporate values that drive our success and everything we do at eHealth Technologies. We do hope that you took advantage of the exit interview process with your manager or our Human Resources Department. Although as this is the first time we have heard these comments, we suspect you did not. We still welcome you to contact us directly to share your opinion and personal view. We also wish you well on your future endeavors.
