The only thing eVisit sells is incompetence

Pros

Remote work is great sometimes

Cons

The incredible incompetence of the eVisit executive team is rivaled only by its tragically comical arrogance. These are the people Steve Jobs called "corporate bozos". They're just a bunch of middle-managers who don't belong anywhere near a startup, never mind in leadership. The Peter Principle comes to mind. They rose to their level of incompetence at some former company and now strut around eVisit wearing their inadequacies like a badge of honor. The new CEO is a textbook hatchetman with zero leadership ability or people skills. I’m convinced he was brought in to make the company viable for M/A so the board can sell it off as quickly as possible. There have been multiple rounds of layoffs and the employee experience has completely nosedived since he took over. They’ll tell new hires that eVisit is all about the employee culture and values then lay them off a month later. Within the executive team (SLT), there’s constant in-fighting because everyone from the VP level up thinks they’re the smartest person in the room. It’s a constant clash of egos, which is why the SLT is a complete bottleneck where productivity goes to die. The company went more than 9 months without a sale, lost dozens of good employees, and squandered tens of millions of dollars in just a couple years due to laughably egregious business decisions. If eVisit were a person, it’d be that cautionary tale of a lottery winner who won $45m and lost it all over night by making bafflingly poor choices. This company has no future. Enter at your own risk.

Pros

The friendly smiles and genuine warmth of my colleagues truly makes the office a better place.

Cons

In a jaw-dropping display of unethical business practices, the CEO of this company embarked on a series of desperate measures that wreaked havoc on both the sales team and the customer base. Abruptly changing sales team commissions, quotas, and the entire business model from SMBs to Enterprise, all while raising pricing and coercing customers into annual contracts, can only be described as a corporate crime against transparency and fair business practices. It became painfully evident that the CEO, far from being a sales leader, was merely attempting to cover up their inadequacies with these manipulative and self-serving maneuvers. This unethical approach not only tarnishes the company's reputation but also leaves employees and customers alike as collateral damage in the wake of the founder's misguided attempts to hide their own shortcomings. A very hostile place.

Terrible Management/Company bankrupt

Pros

Great office view/not much else.

Cons

Along with 12 others, we were promptly laid off with no information as to why, how, and with nothing lined up for the future. No severance was given therefore ruining several lives and their families while many have to struggle to find new positions as quickly as possible. Most of which are companies not hiring for several more weeks. Could not be more frustrated at the CEO and would give that person a zero out of ten as far as managing a company, budgeting finances, and being honest to the employees. The CEO spoke of family in the work place, and has proven that they have no idea what family is. So disappointing.
