The Mind & Movement lunches continue, and our offices around the world have been closing laptops and coming together over good food. After Manila kicked things off last week, the rest of the C8 teams picked up the baton: 🇺🇸 In the US, the team started the day with a breakfast catch-up - joined by our CEO, Nick Morris, who dropped into the office. 🇸🇬 Over in Singapore, the team headed out for a Japanese lunch to take a proper breather together. 🇬🇧 And the UK team took some time out of the day to dive into a massive Mediterranean feast. In honour of Mental Health Awareness Week, these were a chance to pause, reconnect and prioritise well-being together, no matter the time zone. But creating a supportive workplace means backing it up with real action, which is why we support our team's mental health year-round with benefits like: - Flexible Working Hours: giving everyone the freedom to manage their day in a way that works best for them. - 2 Dedicated Mental Health Days: two fully paid days off per year, in addition to regular annual leave, so the team can completely unplug and reset. #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek #CompanyCulture #TeamSocial #EmployeeWellbeing
For Mental Health Awareness Week, our global teams have been closing their laptops, blocking out their calendars, and trading screen time for real connection. To wrap up the week, we’re hosting global team lunches across all our offices. Our Manila C8ers got a cheeky head start this week with an absolute feast of a Japanese BBQ, sparking a serious case of global Slack FOMO for the rest of our offices heading out next week. #Canvas8 #WorkplaceWellness #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek #Manila #TeamSocial #CompanyCulture

Inspired by US National Poetry Month, we set our global teams a simple challenge: capture the essence of Canvas8 in verse. There were no rules and no pressure. It was just a chance to see how our team would interpret our culture through a different lens. The poems we received were a look into the individual personalities that make up our offices. It turns out that a little bit of wordplay is often the most direct way to bring a global team together. Congratulations to our winner, Freya Chan Huan, you can have a read of her winning entry below. #NationalPoetryMonth #LifeAtCanvas8 #PeopleAndCulture #Creativity #Canvas8
Last week, Canvas8 co-hosted the Futureproofing Gen Alpha Culture event alongside The Marketing Society Singapore. Moderated by Andrea Ng, the panel featured Helen Jambunathan, Cindy Tan, Siew Ting Foo, and Jacqueline Pavich. But what made this event different? Three Gen Alpha voices on stage. No scripts. No filters. Hearing directly from these Gen Alphas proved that this generation is already shaping culture rather than waiting to inherit it. To move beyond data and assumptions, the discussion uncovered three strategic pillars for staying relevant in Singapore and across APAC: • The Environmental Shift Gen Alpha is not difficult to understand because they are inherently different, but because their ecosystem is. Relevance requires an understanding of signals and emotional nuance over recycled tropes. • Participation Over Broadcasting Brands must shift from messaging to participation. For this cohort, the takeaway was sharp: if you try too hard to sound like them, you instantly lose them. • Utility over Trends Staying relevant means building genuine connection and utility rather than just chasing a trend until it is tired. For Earth Day 🌍 this year, we headed out into our local neighbourhood for a litter pick. It’s a simple thing to do, but we’re firm believers that small, collective actions add up. Getting away from our screens to tidy up the streets around our office was a great way to reconnect with our local area and leave it a little better than we found it. Thanks to everyone who grabbed a bag and got involved. #EarthDay #LifeAtCanvas8 #PeopleAndCulture #Sustainability
What does a day in the life of a Canvas8 Analyst Intern actually look like? In our new series, we sit down with teams from across Canvas8 to see what a day in their lives looks like. First up is Tessa Mullen, who traded the Cambridge history library for our London office. From decoding Chinese slow-crafts to the latest UK grocery trends, Tessa’s day-to-day is anything but ordinary. We caught up with her to talk about the leap from academia into the world of strategic insights, the reality of forgetting your lunch, and why a spreadsheet will never tell you the whole story. https://lnkd.in/efUZ6TGn

🐣🐰 Easter Fun at Canvas8! 🐰🐣 Last week, our London office got into the Easter spirit with our very own Easter Egg Hunt! From golden eggs with bigger chocolate prizes to smaller treats hidden around the office, it was fantastic to see everyone take a little break, have some fun, and enjoy a few sweet surprises. A huge congratulations to our golden egg winners - Nathalie Combes , Tami Makinde, Ilhaan K. and George Malsher Beyond the sugar rush, it was a great way to step away from the screens and catch up with the team. We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend, filled with chocolate, family and plenty of smiles! #LifeAtCanvas8 #TeamCulture #Easter
Celebrating Eid Across Our Offices Last week, our teams marked Eid al-Fitr in their own local ways. In London, Manila, and New York, teams enjoyed local lunches and caught up over great food. In Singapore, the team headed to the lively Ramadan Bazaar to experience the sights and flavours of the season. It’s moments like these that remind us how much we can learn from each other and how celebrating different cultures brings our teams closer together. #CultureAtWork #EidCelebration #DiversityAndInclusion #GlobalTeam #EmployerBranding
