Job Title: Procurement Engineer (AWS + VB/ West)
Job Hours: 8am to 5pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various departments to address purchasing needs, primarily related to contractor services for facility maintenance and upgrades.
• Assess engineering job scopes, analyze technical data, and source quotes while ensuring suitability and compliance.
• Provide guidance on equipment and parts when necessary.
• Invite and engage existing and potential contractors for projects.
• Liaise with contractor representatives regarding specifications, costs, and inspections.
• Efficiently source and negotiate with vendors for optimal value, lead times, and terms.
• Review quotes for compliance and initiate verifications when necessary.
• Monitor purchasing trends to prevent over-purchasing.
• Initiate and oversee the Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) processes.
• Maintain procurement records, including vendor and item code management, contract tracking, and vendor communication.
• Prepare purchase reports and cost analyses when required.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of Purchase Order, Delivery Order, and Invoice matching.
• Coordinate with the Centralized Store for self-collection arrangements.

Job Requirements:

• Possesses a Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Having prior procurement knowledge is desirable
• Proficiency with ERP software. E.g., Microsoft Dynamics Navision will be advantageous
