Does anyone know anything about LoopMe?
Probably walking into a lions den with this one…Art Directors when you were juniors how and when did you learn what a concept vs an execution? And tips on how to better conceptual thinking? Because I’m feeling really stupid right now.
My contract was unsurprisingly not extended this week after I couldn't keep from calling the CD out when he was blaming a junior for a mistake that was fully his own. "You should have known I mistakenly approved that because it's not up to my standards!" after the client didn't like his concept, spit flying as he was screaming at her. I at least wish it meant I was a good person but I just hate the guy. The job market is good, right? Right??
Tell me if I’m being petty or not: I was a senior creative on a team that literally would just straight up run off with my concepts and leave me behind in the dark. Whenever I presented my concepts, I wouldn’t hear back but would later see my deck designs being used for their own personal projects and concepts. As in, I’d make my deck look all cool, slick and edgy — then they’d litterally take the deck design, remove my concepts and later use it for theirselves. Is that okay or a violation?
I've only ever worked in big traditional creative ad agencies. Got laid off last year, now work in-house. I'm shocked at how much nicer & down-to-earth my current coworkers are. Realizing in retrospect how cliquey & competitive my creative peers were, and how extensively the agency model relies on social hierarchy
The match nobody has been waiting for!
