Does it hurt my chances of getting a job if I click prefer not to say on job applications when they ask for gender and race?

Alright, so are all major tech CEOs just heartless, money hungry, burdens on society? I'm starting to regret helping these people make money.

I really don't understand what just happened. I was asked to go into a physical office building today for an interview. But when I got there, they sat me in front of a laptop and my interview was conducted over Zoom. What was the point of that?

I can't tell you how much rage I feel when I see all of these companies' stock prices skyrocket after they announce massive layoffs. Doesn't this just inspire more tech companies to cut their staff for the stock benefits?

Do I switch to a more AI focused role in tech, which I'm assuming would mean I have to get some kind of certification, or do I give up on a career in tech altogether? What's the smarter move here? I'm worried the AI field will quickly become saturated.
