Any interview tips for RBC client advisor role?
I recently found out that a colleague with less experience than me is making noticeably more, and I cannot stop thinking about it before interviews now. It changed the way I look at compensation conversations completely. I used to just feel grateful to get an offer, now I feel like I probably undervalued myself for years. This job application process is becoming tiring. It takes approximately 30-40mins to tailor(including editing and formatting) CV and cover letter to each job post. A scenario where all I will do in the end is just verify and click submit. Has anyone come across anything like this?
"If I hand you a single pin, how many uses can you come up with in 60 seconds? Talk me through your thinking as you go. " Yes... this was a real question in one of my interviews! Didn't get the job in the end. I still don't understand the point of this exercise. Why would someone ask this?
Hey folks -- what’s a subtle interview red flag people should pay more attention to that most candidates ignore at first? Anything else that comes to mind?
talk through your thought process while solving. They care as much about how you approach problems as the final answer
