I’m a second year in a niche finance group, trying to retool into a more gen corp group or M&A (so I can get better exits). Does anyone have any advice for lateraling to retool? I’ve had a few interviews but it keeps coming down to not having enough M&A/corp experience. I’ve tried to move groups internally but that hasn’t worked either, and I’m open to any size firm.
