9 YOE in MNCs, currently at Oracle for 4 years with almost stagnant growth and compensation. Recently got a 40% hike offer from a 13-year-old US-based remote company (~100 engineers). I’m married with a 4-year-old son, so stability matters a lot. Confused whether to stay at Oracle for security or move for better growth, learning, and pay. People who moved from stable MNCs to mid-sized companies/startups, was it worth the risk?
