On my lunch breaks, I would always go on a long walk, and honestly, that's the only way I get steps in for the day. Now that we're going into that horrid crisp, cold weather, I'm wondering if others have figured out ways to still move on breaks. I wish our office had a gym!

I’ll walk laps in the building, stretch at my desk, or even do a quick stair climb if I can. Some folks use short desk workouts or follow fun movement videos on their phone during break. Not quite a gym, but every bit helps to keep moving! You could even see if you can bring a collapsible walking pad that you can use while you work.
What works really well for me is going up and down the stairwell. I love how there’s no stimulation (all grey walls, no sound) and forces me to think through my thoughts. Only downside is that it makes me sweat buckets. So I do it first thing in the morning in my apartment building. Gets me wide awake before I’ve had a chance to sip on my coffee!
I always do a lot of walking and we're just getting into my favorite time of year to do it. In the summer I still walk, but the heat and humidity can make it miserable. I love the crisp and cool weather, it just feels like I'm getting all that good fresh air in my lungs. Unless you live someplace where it's just too dangerously cold to walk, I'd encourage you to get used to cool weather walking, it's the best.
