Would you still go the lengths of paying huge chunks of money for bespoke music for any of your film or digital content? I feel bad to even say this, but the kind of music AI can produce for a fraction of the cost is hard to resist. My team wants to create a tune for a spot with a production house in Singapore, and I just don't see the point.

It’s definitely tempting to cut costs, but bespoke tracks still add a unique emotional touch that AI can’t fully replicate. Depends on how much you value originality and brand identity for that project. Sometimes, investing in custom music is about standing out, not just saving money.

The fact is that AI can do it and probably does it just as well. It’s becoming a moral high road to not use it, to be totally honest. Something a brand can highly benefit from, but it depends.

I wouldn't pay through the nose for it. You don't even have to turn to AI, just price shop. I'm all for paying for creative when it makes sense, but the audio would have to really make a difference for me to justify it.

I would be wary of using AI, mainly because a lot of copyright issues still persist with AI still scraping from artists who didn't consent to their work being used. That said, the low cost is very tempting from a business perspective. I guess it all comes down to ethics and how much experience you're willing to pay for as well as your budget.
