Honestly. I stated very clearly where I did not have experience as described and pivoted to relevant experience. For example, if the interviewer asked if I had experience writing fundraising campaigns, I responded with something to the effect of: "We engaged the community in ABC innovative way and raised X funds for Z startup. Some emails were used but we focused on direct campaigns and personal interactions."
