DOB discrimination is a practice many organizations claim not to adhere to, but flagrantly use it as a tool to selectively maintain a younger-looking business profile. Regardless of if the younger person does not have the experience or background of the DOB, companies will look at your resume and date you with their (ATS) Applicant Tracking System and flush you out of their system. Garmin is one such organization where I've applied well over twenty times for the same role, and while having all the qualifications, never get a response other than a robo-mail. ATS are tools used by corporations to legitimately discriminate against select profile types as a means of saying they're being non-discriminatory. Did I say that right? Yes, I did!
