As far as "Being honest and authentic" being the bullet-proof answer to the "Tell me about yourself question"., it is pure hogwash. You only have to read the news diligently, day after day, (keyword "whistleblower" among others) to realize that the financial industry/government is run by - management and employees alike - who are anything BUT honest and authentic. If they were, they would be made dog food by the prevailing company culture in place at their location.
