The basic elements of EVA are the items that are available and required from a project inception to determine and compute/estimate the other important elements of EVA in order to track and monitor the healthiness of an ongoing project. These elements are a project's Budget At Completion (BAC) which is technically the same as the project's contract value and the project's planned value (PV).
