The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and scaling of their acquiring services. You will own the acquiring product roadmap end-to-end and work cross-functionally with engineering, compliance, operations, and commercial teams to deliver robust, scalable payment solutions for both traditional merchants and Web3-native businesses.

Key Responsibilities
Own the acquiring product roadmap across card acquiring, alternative payment methods (APMs), and crypto payment acceptance
Define product vision and identify new opportunities in merchant acquiring, cross-border payments, and embedded finance
Design and enhance end-to-end acquiring flows including authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation
Manage integrations with payment networks (Visa, Mastercard), acquirers, gateways, and local payment methods
Drive fraud prevention strategy, chargeback management, and transaction optimization
Build merchant-facing capabilities including onboarding flows, payment APIs, dashboards, and reporting tools
Optimize conversion rates, payment success rates, and checkout experience
Partner with compliance teams to ensure adherence to MAS, AML/CFT, and PCI-DSS regulatory frameworks
Embed KYC/KYB requirements, transaction monitoring, and risk controls into product design
Coordinate with operations teams on settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling
Track and analyze key metrics including authorization rates, decline rates, chargebacks, and settlement timelines
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of product management experience in payments, fintech, or financial services
Strong understanding of acquiring, payment gateways, and transaction lifecycles
Hands-on experience working with card schemes, APMs, or payment processors
Familiarity with fraud prevention, chargeback handling, and risk controls in payments
Experience in API-based product development and technical environments
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to align cross-functional teams
Knowledge or genuine interest in digital assets and Web3 payments is a strong advantage
Experience with crypto payment rails, on/off ramps, or stablecoins
Exposure to cross-border payments and FX flows
Prior experience in a MAS-regulated environment
Background in a startup or high-growth fintech company
