Responsibilities

• Subject matter expert on technologies – MS SQL & MySQL, Postgresql and MongoDB.
• Helping build the structure and design of the database.
• Assist application team to troubleshoot application/database related issues.
• Knowledge and hands on SQL Cluster environment & SQL, Replication and Mirroring.
• Knowledge and experience in IT Security SQL Server security hardening & automation.
• To work closely with end user on defining system requirements, testing, and software implementation.
• Design and implement disaster recovery in cost effective way.
• Database performance monitoring and tuning.
• Design and implement backup plans and strategies under specified RTO/RPO.
Experience with shell scripting(bash and PowerShell).

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent.
• Proven working experience as a Database Administrator (2-3 years).
• Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications.
• Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity in SQL and Oracle.
• Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding.
• Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third party tools.
• Good interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
