Duties & responsibilities
What this job involves –
Being an expert
We need a technical expert for our South East Asia Engineering & Operations Solutions team under IFM APAC in JLL’s Corporate Solutions business. You will be responsible for providing leadership to the IFM account-based teams on issues relating to Engineering & Operations. As well as implementing standard business processes across accounts in your area of responsibility, you will also need to carry out performance analysis and reporting to ensure team engagement & alignment with wider business objectives. You will be the focal point for hard services within the IFM team in South East Asia & have a detailed knowledge of our business to be able to operate with confidence when dealing with our own staff and clients.
Attention for detail
Do you have an eye for detail? You will be responsible for ensuring that all South East Asia IFM Accounts have an annual compliance/audit program in place. You will personally attend a minimum of 10 building audits in order to demonstrate team leadership and provide trainings. As a member of the EOS Leadership team, you will actively contribute to developing and implementing programs and procedures to support the EOS platform & strategy.
You will also support JLL’s Regional Risk and Incident Director, to drive the implementation of JLL’s standard Incident Management procedures and ensure a consistent approach is adopted across the region.
Collaboration
At JLL, we foster a spirit of collaboration. In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership and our wider Corporate Solutions teams. You will sit with JLL’s IFM business to support our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) business line but also form part of our wider technical support team across the region. In addition, you will also work closely with our global facilities management team to support global clients and global compliance initiatives.
As South East Asia EOS Director, you will ensure that all facilities teams have access to and follow standardised policies and procedures for all aspects of building operations. You will provide high-level technical advice to our internal & external customers. To be successful, you will build strong working relationships with key client representatives and promote the JLL Engineering & Operations platform; providing a key linkage between JLL & clients’ representatives.
To excel in the role, you should monitor market trends & changes to ensure that JLL provides industry best practices in the delivery of Engineering & Operations services.

Experienced
You will be a professionally qualified engineer in either mechanical or electrical disciplines and have a proven record of accomplishment of managing the technical infrastructure of complex real estate, preferably with experience in Critical Environments, production facilities or data centres. You will be commercially minded, solutions driven and be able to balance risk & reward.

You’ll need a high level or professional integrity in the role and a strong code of professional ethics.

Can you get your ideas across clearly both verbally and in writing? Of particular importance is explaining technical issues to non-technical clients, customers and JLL staff. A high EQ is must for this role. In addition to English, an ability to speak Mandarin would be useful, but not essential.
