Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior System Analyst – Core Banking & Payments to join our banking technology team. The successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing business requirements, translating business needs into functional specifications, and delivering solutions across Core Banking and Payments platforms.
This role requires strong expertise in payment systems such as SWIFT, PayNow, DuitNow, PromptPay, and Core Banking applications. The candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, application leads, vendors, developers, and testing teams to ensure successful delivery of banking technology initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Requirement Management

Analyze and manage business requirements within Core Banking and Payments project teams.
- Conduct requirement elicitation workshops, stakeholder interviews, and business process analysis.
- Translate Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) into detailed Functional Specifications (FS) and solution designs.
- Review and validate functional requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Maintain requirement traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support impact analysis for change requests and system enhancements.
Core Banking & Payments

Design and support solutions related to:
- SWIFT Payments
- PayNow
- DuitNow
- PromptPay
- Cross-border and domestic payment systems
- Work on Core Banking domains including:
- Deposits
- Loans
- Payments
- Wealth Management
- Customer Demographics
- Collaborate with application leads and vendors to provide effort estimation and implementation planning.
System Analysis & Solution Design

Develop functional solution designs for banking applications.
- Support integration between Core Banking, payment platforms, and downstream systems.
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
- Conduct Functional Specification and Traceability Reviews with business users and testing teams.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security, and operational standards.
Application Support & Delivery

Work closely with development and testing teams during implementation.
- Support SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide business/functional support.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or Functional Analyst within Banking or Financial Services.
- Strong experience in Core Banking and Payments domains.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end requirement analysis and solution delivery.
