Going north? So is Purolator Courier. Canada's #1 overnight express delivery company, Purolator delivers about 275 million packages per year, 70% of which are manufactured goods. It offers next-day service to some 10,000 locations in Canada, 35,000 in the US. A subsidiary, Purolator USA, handles items bound from the US to Canada. Purolator also offers less-than-truckload (LTL) freight transportation (LTL carriers consolidate freight from multiple shippers into a single trailer) freight forwarding, and supply chain services. Purolator's fleet includes some 20 chartered aircraft, 130 trucks, 430 tractors, 1,100 trailers, and 4,000 courier vehicles. Government-owned Canada Post owns more than 90% of Purolator.
