I was fortunate to be able to start on a blank canvas. There was great amount of autonomy to build and create meaningful work. *SCAPE is a place that requires you to path out your own learning journey and goals. You can learn a lot of things at *SCAPE and this is helpful in exploring what you want to do. You got to take ownership of this, *SCAPE is also filled with passion driven people in the executive levels. Ideas can bounce of one another and if you are in the right team, you will enjoy the struggles and success together. Overall, if you are someone who has the heart to develop and guide youths in the right direction in small ways, this is the place to be. You can be a change maker and play a role in improving the lives of others. Creating opportunities for them.
Cons
Retention of staff due to most feeling undervalued The legacy appraisal system put in place is the reason why many people feel undervalued. It can breed toxicity because feeling of unjust is not dealt with. Change is a constant and the only constant is the delay in change happening. Change will take a long time to take into effect, thus one needs to consider the risk to reward for staying for the changes.
