I’m not leaving this review as HR. I’m a current employee who has previously worked for extremely toxic companies-and while I can’t speak for everyone (the bad reviews here), I can say that coming into this company with the perspective of what an actual bad company looks like makes a huge difference. Good company with a great mission, nice coworkers, actual work / life balance, transparency in communication across the company and the company is growing so it’s only getting more exciting to be there. Again, I’ve lived and struggled in an outrageously toxic work environment and AlgaeCal is absolutely nothing of the sorts.

It’s a mission driven place where everyone is moving in the same direction to achieve the company vision. Great collaborative culture and even though I’m remote I still feel very close to my colleagues across the country. Have made some amazing friendships!
