It does not matter where you work, there are things you like and some you don't. Here are some "cons" to working here:
1. Street parking - Real Estate is EXPENSIVE in Chicago. We do not have enough space to have employee parking. You don't have to pay to park in the streets around our dealership unless you park your car on Irving Park....don't park your car on Irving...lol
2. Space is tight - We are grateful to have a busy dealership! With that being said, space is a premium and makes it more difficult in certain times of the year.
3. Four properties - As I mentioned, space is a premium so we have four different properties we work out of. We have the three here in a row on Irving Park and a parking garage 1.5 miles away on Montrose where we store our new car inventory.
4. Store Location - It is a pro and a con depending on where you live. The good news is the construction is finally done on the Kennedy!
5. High standards of customer satisfaction - We are striving to be THE best Subaru store in Chicago. We have done an AMAZING job of hiring some excellent talent that has allowed us to get closer to this goal but we still have work to do. If you are not interested in bringing your best version of yourself to work consistently, this is not the place for you.
