"Before you start you have to go through a several hour unpaid training where you're fingerprinted and then have the entire cost of the background check deducted from your first pay period which doesn't come for two months after your first tutoring session." ((in 4 reviews)); "Bad pay, sketchy locations, no supervision, long orientation (they make you pay for your background check), sometimes you get crazy/greedy/wild kids, you don't really make much of an impact due to restrictions on sessions, some parents are more immature than the kids, they don't warn you that you have to be bilingual to communicate with most parents (I am not but I would rehearse my Google translated statements beforehand)" ((in 2 reviews))

Pros

I am a returning seasonal tutor for this company and I must say it gives a great working experience. You learn more along the way with your students and build a safe educational connection with them. You make your own schedule and that's a definite plus. The staff in this company is also very helpful and are persistent with emails. I enjoy working in elevate learning !

Cons

There is absolutely no cons because you have answers to every question and all documents required are provided to you.
